Gary Cochran — Master Welder, Adjunct Professor, Caterer, Property Manager, businessman, Innovator — spent 18 years at Westinghouse Corporation in Charlotte, North Carolina welding and fabricating nuclear turbines. During that time, Gary was one of three people holding every qualification for welding at Westinghouse, subsequently, traveling three years internationally for the company — repairing all types of turbines. He taught Math, blueprint reading and welding processes at Central Piedmont Community College in North Carolina. In 2006, he and a colleague built a system, enabling municipalities to capture methane gas to run engine generators and produce enough power never having to bury anything in a landfill again. Gary has a prototype that is now running.
